PMC Workshops 2011:Workshops are held on the 2nd & 4th Fridays and Saturdays each month. Come and learn about PMC and discover the techniques for using it successfully. You will learn to handle the clay, roll, texture, cut, refine, set bails, set small kiln-friendly stones, and how to get a good finish on your pieces. These workshops are for absolute beginners, or those wishing for a refresher course. The cost is £75 which includes some PMC, use of all necessary tools, expert tuition and light refreshments throughout the day. Workshops run from 10.00 - 4.30 approx. £25 deposit is required or you can book in full using PayPal or by sending a cheque. Make presents/giftsThese are one day workshops. It is lovely to receive a gift that someone has made especially for you. In this class you'll make a gift for someone special using PMC. You can choose to make charms for a bracelet, earrings, a pendant, dog tags or cufflinks. You'll be guided every step of the way to make sure you leave with gifts to be proud of. The skills you learn will allow you to work with metal clay on your own Introduction to BronZclayThis class introduces you to the serendipitous world of BronZclay. Still very experimental, this material is a challenge to creativity. On the introductory course you'll learn how to work with BronZclay, the similarities and differences with silver metal clay and its unique qualities. Open Workshops 2011:Open Workshops held every 3rd Saturday of the month - £35.00. Things to consider..... No teaching will be available on these days; someone will be present to help you to use any equipment you are unfamiliar with. Book Making Workshops
This is an introductory course into the basics of hand book making using techniques which have hardly changed for centuries. We will prepare paper to form sections which are then hand sewn into a multi-section book. Then prepare the book for covering using traditional methods but modern materials. This course gives an insight into book construction and using materials to their best advantage.

Why not book a private studio session with friendly tuition and all equipment, materials and refreshments supplied? Choose your course and book the studio for a day. Set in the heart of the Ribble Valley, this is an ideal venue for hen parties, birthday parties; special events, or corporate days. Week or weekend dates by arrangement. Bring your own wine or purchase from the restaurant on site.
Charm Parties – for all ages. Make Your Own Silver Charms.
Each partygoer makes 2 charms; one for herself and one for the Birthday Girl. The birthday girl also gets a sterling silver bracelet to hang her charms on. The girls then polish the charms, attach rings and put together the silver bracelet for the Birthday Girl.
The minimum age is 10 years old. This workshop takes around two and a half hours and the cost for the charm party, silver clay and sterling silver bracelet is £125. 00. for 4.
Textile and book making workshops are also available.
